Whether your initial goal is General Internal Medicine practice, Hospitalist Medicine, or subspecialization, your residency at The Christ Hospital will prepare you well for your professional future. About 70 percent of our graduates go into General Internal Medicine both private practice and Hospitalist Medicine, often remaining in the Greater Cincinnati area. Approximately 30 percent of residents continue their training in subspecialty fellowship.
Over the past 15 years, 90 percent of our residents that pursued fellowship training found a position the first year that they applied! Fellowship training areas include Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Geriatrics, Hematology/Oncology, Infectious Disease, Nephrology, Pulmonary, Rheumatology, and Sports Medicine.
